P.S. 127 The McKinley Park School

P.S. 127 is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment that is free from harassment, intimidation, and bullying.  As a school community, we have discussed the components of a positive school culture and have planned instructional activities as well as school events to ensure that students, staff, and families value and respect one another.  Throughout the academic year at P.S. 127, our school community is engaged in many activities in order to promote acceptance of diversity, prevention of harassment and bullying behavior, and respect for all.

 Congratulations to all the members of our school community for working together to ensure that all students are supported and valued as well as foster a school culture in which all students can progress academically and socially.   

P.S. 127 students, teachers and staff participate in numerous fundraising efforts throughout the school year which brings awareness to particular causes. We have found that our fundraising events help our school come together and work towards a common goal. It builds a strong community, highlights important educational skills, and instills a sense of social awareness and moral values in the minds of our youth.
